Azizul Mustafa: 3D Design Fundamentals

Aim :To construct 3D floating object (Boat) using recycle material

Object:

- To creative environmental awareness through the art learning

- To indentify places where recyclable material can be collected

- To indentify the best possible ways of reuse recyclabel material collected

- To design a main structure of 3D floating object based from subject matter studied

Methodology:

- Few places around campus will be identified where recyclabel material can be collected: Areas will be divided into A,B,C & D

- To identify the best possible ways of reuse of recyclable material collected : After gathering all possible material, student needs to reasearch on ways of processing it

- To design a main structure of 3D water floating object based from subject matter studied

Task 1:Week 1-2:

Student need to find one TANGIBLE subject from nature (insect/plants) . First task is to understand the Form of the subject through building activity.Equipment used : Nose pliers & steel wire. Selected from will be highlighted for futher development .Variable angle of object will be presented and consider for further structure development.All documentation must be done alone the process in a form of photograph and writing.Submitted item : 2 Wire structure ( not bigger than 2 feets)

Equipment Used

First Subject Metal: Leaf.

Second Subject: Labu Sayong

Last Subject: Merpati

Task 2: Week 3-4:

1. Forming a group of 10 people.Task is to collect recyclabel material for further development. Initiative must be done by all members in finding ways on how to recycle this material into a floating 3D object. Bear in mind, your main STRUCTURE used must be from the subject matter studied previously.

- STRUCTURE JUXTAPOSITION.

-The best structure will be selected from task 1

- Rebuilding of the selected subject matter & selected water vehicle using wire by the size of 1.5 feet

- To combine boat structure as one (subject matter + water vehicle)
